This kit is loosely based on Ambler's Texaco Gas Station built in 1933: a historic filling station located at the intersection of Old U.S. Route 66 and Illinois Route 17 in the village of Dwight, Illinois, United States. It was later extended to a full-service station by adding a building with two service bays.
