The Legend of Riverfield
Riverfield is a small village nestled in the bend of the Silver River. Before the Great War a regiment of the King’s Guards had been stationed here to guard the ferry. Now, only the watchtower remains. The buzzing days, when all kinds of folk would cross the river by the ferry rather than the larger bridge in Blackstone, about 50 miles to the east, are but a distant memory. The ferry still exists and so does the Red Whale Inn but they are only frequented by the villagers now.
Dock
A section of the river front has a substantial and well maintained section of docks to allow ships and boats to be loaded and unloaded. Though trade has been in decline for a while, Riverfield is still proud of it's economic past.
The docks are a modular design allowing a wide variety of arrangements. Stairs and ramps make it easy to reach the upper level. Bridges cross small channels and connect different sections. Bridges, railings and bollards don't need to be glued in place. This allows you to create different layouts each time you play.
This is a very useful set for any fantasy or pirate game setting (e.g. Frostgrave, Ghost Archipelago, Blood and Plunder). I can even imagine a German U-Boot being supplied for it's next mission...
