Tutorial - Making Bricks

6/18/2018

Your gaming table is set: the buildings are placed, including the ruined factory. But wait... isn't there missing something? It's a battle-damaged building, parts of the walls are missing, windows and doors are broken, but where is all the rubble and debris?
Let's have a look at how to make bricks. Thanks a lot for sharing, Tony Rieger!

This instructional is not very involved. It is just one way to make your Forge model (or other fireplace, camp fire etc.) have the look of hot coals.

Tutorial - Old Paint look

3/19/2018

This next tutorial is on how to recreate the “aging paint job” on buildings. I also have some other methods using chipping medium and the like. These products give great results but, can be expensive, add more time to the overall build, and may take more skill in modeling to pull off. That all said, this is an old method I have used for many years now to give the old look but easily, cheaply, and quickly.

Tutorial - Painting Stucco / Plaster

3/12/2018

What is stucco? Basically it is a plaster that can be added to the outside or inside walls and structures to hide the building materials below it. This gives the building a finished surface to paint or seal, and to cover less visually appealing construction materials, such as metal, concrete, cinder block, or clay brick and adobe. This process is used throughout the world and throughout human history. This instructional will hopefully help you recreate this painted look on your models with ease.
